The Workplace Transparency Act is now in effect (January 1, 2020). In response to the growing sexual harassment and sexual misconduct allegations, Illinois is taking action.

Amy explains how the law mandates employee sexual harassment training but also goes further to extend the protections to contract workers, limits the use of arbitration and non-disclosure agreements plus requires restaurants and bars to equip certain staff with sexual harassment prevention training.
