Andrew is the principal attorney at Horvat Law LLC and brings an unparalleled background in civil rights litigation, government representation, and complex civil litigation.

Andrew’s distinguished career includes serving as supervisor of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s litigation unit, where he handled the county’s most challenging civil rights lawsuits. He successfully represented numerous county and state officials, including elected office holders and judges, in high-profile civil rights cases. He also supervised one of the Illinois Attorney General’s busiest civil rights units, litigating complex employment and educational rights cases.

Known for his exceptional courtroom skills, Andrew handles difficult federal and state court jury trials with outstanding results. He began his career as a criminal prosecutor in Kane County, trying over 50 jury trials including white-collar crimes and murder cases. His decades of successful trial experience continue to benefit clients today.

Andrew has worked at a nationally recognized Chicago civil litigation firm, representing individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. He has served as nationwide counsel for international clients, supervising litigation in over 20 jurisdictions. His extensive experience spans civil rights, wrongful death, tort, and personal injury cases.

Throughout his career, Andrew has voluntarily represented indigent clients free of charge and remains actively involved with Shriners Hospitals for Children and Wounded Warrior Project.
