We are proud to announce that Attorney Carrie Ganci-Clodi has joined Cramer Law in an Of Counsel capacity, deepening the firm’s employment law practice. Licensed in both Illinois and Indiana, Carrie advises on discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, non-competes, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and worker classification.
Carrie is the Principal of Ganci-Clodi Law & Mediation LLC where she focuses on supporting the educational rights of children and adults with special needs. Carrie also advises in the following areas: guardianship, probate and estate planning, education law, mediation and arbitration, special needs planning, disability law, and family law.
Carrie’s employment law practice is distinguished by a perspective few attorneys can offer: before advising on these matters as counsel, she made employment decisions as the person responsible for them. Across more than twenty years as a Director of Special Education and cooperative administrator, she carried direct responsibility for the full range of human resources functions — guiding leadership teams through EEOC complaints, administering FMLA and medical leave, making ADA accommodation determinations, negotiating contracts, managing collective bargaining, and handling staff discipline and termination, while ensuring that each decision was legally defensible under federal and state law. She has sat in management’s chair, making employment calls under real pressure with real consequences. As a licensed attorney in Illinois and Indiana, she now advises clients on discrimination and harassment claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, non-compete agreements, FMLA and ADA compliance, and worker classification, with the operational instincts of someone who has had to live with these decisions, not merely opine on them.
